It does look like Phil in enjoying the touring. Looked happy to me. But I would also agree that there is more to the picture. Other motivations such as money would surly play a roll.

I also feel that that the "Phil Lesh and Friends" as a better band than "Further". Heck I liked "the Dead" better.

That all said I was not in the meeting don't know the boys personal...so it all hearsay... wish them well

I think we have something to agree on here - I've said before that I regret that Phil gave up playing with Larry Campbell and Jackie Greene to join the Furthur circus. That was a great Phil and Friends, no doubt in my mind.

I don't see the money aspect as being prevalent at all. In fact, after seeing "The Dead " in an arena in the spring, I was thrilled to see them in a school gym,(Cornell) last month, and look forward to seeing them this summer in a castle setting and a museum setting. If the $$$$$$ was so important wouldn't they just play the shells and domes, and not be so creative with their choices?
